Green Pastures is a cozy and peaceful place owned by very kind and diligent family. My father spent the last weeks of his life in hospice there surrounded by love and care. We (my mother, my brother and myself) were very lucky to find this place, where we were sure that my father was in good hands. While my dad was in the hospital, I was constantly worried because time after time the nurses mishandled him, failed to give medication, or bothered him too much. It was a constant stress, because arguing with those nurses and asking them to be more human was useless. Once my dad got to Green Pastures I and our whole family got relieved – everything all of a sudden got taken care of – properly, calmly with a smile. We are grateful to the Bond family running Green Pastures for taking such a good care of our father when he and all of us needed it.

Finding Green Pastures was a blessing. My mother, who struggled with dementia, has thrived since moving in. The staff are incredibly patient and understanding, and the home feels warm. I can finally rest easy knowing she’s in good hands…

I placed my husband in Green Pastures Residential Care after he clearly would not adjust successfully to an assisted living facility. The Bond family treated him with utmost kindness even when my husband was having a bad reaction to one of his medications. When hospice care became necessary the process was handled with care and delicacy. He passed away in his sixth month. I cannot overemphasize how supportive the Bond family was of him and recommend them for anyone who faces similar challenges for loved ones nearing end of life. They have been a blessing to my husband and to me. I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

My mother moved into Green Pastures from another facility where she wasn’t getting the care and attention she needed. She was 98 years old and it was the first time she had ever been in a facility. Prior to that she had been living at home. Once we moved her to Green Pastures she flourished.She went from being pretty much not communicative to speaking somewhat again, being able to stand up again with help, and being completely comfortable and at ease.
I can’t say enough positive things about Emily, Allan, Lindsay, and Richard. They made me and my brother feel that we had made the right decision in finding the right place for our Mom at just the right time. They really went above and beyond. Mom passed away recently surrounded by a loving environment.
My brother and I will be forever grateful for all the care they gave our Mom.
